It seems to be a trend with me to have delayed muscle pain, which just means my muscles take about a day off or so, and then, the day after that, they are sore. That also means sometimes my fibromyalgia flare up will also take a whole day off, before what I call "rigamortis" sets in. hehe
I am so sore today! I am tender fibro-sore all over my body and deep muscle work out pain in my arms and legs. Even my face hurts right now. My lower back is VERY angry, and my hips and butt are starting to flare up, the pain is starting to move down my leg... this usually leads to eventually all the way to my foot. (right side)
All the instincts I have, tell me to go lay in bed all day,... but there is so much to be done. My hubs is counting on me this weekend to help him with some projects and we have already made plans with friends. I really hate to break plans. I may just have to suck it up and pry myself off this chair and do some stretches, then soak in the tub for a few. I really could use some pain relief medication or something. Unfortunately that is never going to happen.
I looked up delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS), here are a few good links. Some where in here is a way to help deal with this pain today.

"Delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS), also called muscle fever, is the pain and stiffness felt in muscles several hours to days after unaccustomed or strenuous exercise.
The soreness is felt most strongly 24 to 72 hours after the exercise.[1] It is thought to be caused by eccentric (lengthening) exercise, which causes microtrauma to the muscle fibers. After such exercise, the muscle adapts rapidly to prevent muscle damage, and thereby soreness, if the exercise is repeated.[2]
Delayed onset muscle soreness is one symptom of exercise-induced muscle damage. The other is acute muscle soreness, which appears during and immediately after exercise."

Just as I thought, "they say" not to stop exercising. UGH!!! But "they also say" that exercising will eventually alleviate the pain. OH HOW I WISH I HAD SOME PAIN KILLERS!! Vicodin anyone?? So I guess this is where my 'Inner Strength' kicks in. I better wake her up, cuz I think she's sleeping in today. hehe
